The Open Cluster Group announces the availability of the release of
OSCAR version 1.3.
The features of 1.3 are:
* RedHat 7.1 and 7.2 support
* Mandrake 8.2 support (experimental)
* Support for the Itanium 1 platform
* Support for adding/deleting nodes
* Easy user selection of MPI implementation
* Ganglia (2.2.3) monitoring system
* Improved cluster test routine and results display
* An API for drop in package support
* Updated packages:

o MPICH 1.2.4
o Maui scheduler 3.0.6p9

This release is available for download at the OSCAR project page:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/oscar/
(note that SourceForge marks the download file as "i386", but the file
will work on Itanium platforms as well)
