Of course, this gets tricky if we eventually allow multiple versions of a bundle in the repository. For example, you could archive old versions as well as having current stable and development versions. This that whatever version you installed, you would only be able to get updates for the same update location, i.e., if they installed the stable version, then they would only ever be able to update to newer version of the stable version. If they wanted to use the development version, they would have to uninstall the stable version, then install the development version, which would from then on check for updates on the development update location. -> richard |
