osCommerce Optimized: Speed and SEO / News: Recent posts

Version 1.0 is available for download / testing through the CVS server. This version has optimized queries, increased data caching, admin manipulation of many cache settings via control panel, and also basic SEO.

The next version will add proper indexes for increased performance at the database level and a handy contributions like Cieto Featured Products and Quantity Price Breaks.

Welcome to the osC Optimized project. Our focus is providing an optimized release of osCommerce to the public domain. Our project goals are to reduce per page MySQL questions 95% and also reduce page load time by 90%. While we're doing that we might as well add some basic search engine optimization!
