OSB On Hold

Currently I am putting the Open Source Bot Project on 'hold', as I am too busy at the moment to work on the project.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE, drop me an e-mail at tmandry@hotmail.com (due to protection from spam I don't want to disclose my main e-mail right now.) I would rather you e-mail me instead of posting here because my e-mail will be checked more regularly. I am currently in need of a nice website for OSB, if I ever have the time on my hands I can design it myself though.... read more

tcpsock Released

I released Alipha's socket class, tcpsock, that OSB will be using. Since it's finished I figured I'd release it to the public ;).

Thanks to Alipha for letting us use it. He's also working on a new one (3rd one?), and I might switch OSB to that.

Also, I'm LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO PORT TCPSOCK TO LINUX OR ANY UNIX-BASED OS. (Hope that catches someone's attention ;-) ). I want to have a release for almost all OSes ASAP. If you'll do this I'll add you as a developer if you want and you'll receive my praise in a news post ;). Contact me if you're interested.... read more

OSB Project Accepted, Work Continues on OSB

Today I checked my e-mail, and found the notice that my project was accepted :-). I think that deserves a news post. Also, heres an update on the project status.

As of now, Im getting my IRC class (called cIRC) to work, right now Im getting the message parser to work smoothly. Ill probably get the parser done today, then I can continue work on cIRC. In the first release (coming in the somewhat-near future), only the dynamic-link modules will be supported (since thats what all the basic commands will be). Then Ill start on the scripting language. Until then, watch this space ;-).
