    Have you tried the New Folder button to the right of the directory list and Rightclick >> New >> Folder?

      Yes, I have tried both. The New Folder button can be clicked on, but
      nothing happens. On top of that, New is not located in the right-click
      context menu.

      I have also noticed that the Places Bar only contains Desktop and Computer,
      and does not contain Recent Places, Libraries, and Network.

      These issues only occur on my laptop, but not my desktop (Which is running
      the same OS).

        I just wanted to inform you that I am not having issues with creating New
        Folders and all of the common locations in the Places Bar. I am not sure
        what fixed it. I did install updates for Windows 7 and I ran a registry
        cleaner, and they are the only things that I could think of that might have
        fixed the issue.

        Also, great job on the compiler. It is a major improvement over the
        original Dev-C++.
