Is the "Check for updates" working for anyone?
It just comes back with "could not connect to remote site", with only Planet Mirror as the only option available... :(

Yes, the automatic update function is working. You can scroll in choose devpack-server to
devpaks.org.
To see all possibilities you need to press update. For Allegro you see then a lot more versions.
Why the latest version (4.4.2) is not shown is not clear to me. It is listed in devpaks.org/Allegro.
I am using Windows 8.
A fresh install of DevCpp 5304 and a automatic install of Allegro 4401.
Hello World in normal C++ is working.
Add #include "allehro.h". Generates error (no such file or dir)
After manual setting Win32 GUI and linkersetting -lalleg still the same problem.
(These settings work for me with Allegro 4229)
