    SilverNexus - 2014-03-16

Looking at the Git repo here on SF, I noticed that it says there have not been changes to the files since version 5.5.2. Since there clearly were changes since then (e.g. 5.6.2 hotfix), I was wondering if the Git repository is kept up-to-date with the most recent code base anymore.

Browsing the code at the revision the repo treats as the head indicates there are two child nodes with further updates, but none date more recently than January of this year.

I know each new version has a source archive available for download, but it makes it difficult for a developer to know where the current status of the project is; it hinders a developers ability to test existing patches, develop new patches, or analyze how a fix was made. This particularly rings true after several noticeable bugfixes have been made, such as the index out of bounds error with a specific syntax error fixed for 5.6.2, or the adjustment of the debug window behavior.

I've committed everything up to and including 5.6.1. Version 5.6.2 will follow once it's released.
