This version includes some enhancements and fixes.

In evidence the capability to lock a host or a system so to lock all jobs at once such as the possibility to receive notification on job event (i.e. start and end) were added.

In addition the File Watch plugin was added and the Service Check plugin now is able to check multiple services at once allowing to select the most commonly used service directly from a default list.... read more

Ortro is an easy open source framework for enterprise scheduling and monitoring.

This version includes some enhancements, and one very important security fix, a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. We recommend everyone update immediately.
In addition to the security fix, the Net_Nmap library was updated making the autodiscovery without OS detection more faster, the capability to upload files for plugins and the Web Service Test Plugin using SoapUI were added. The SimpleTest and FCKeditor libraries were updated.... read more

The Ortro Team is proud to announce the new stable version of Ortro that comes up with more bugfixes and improvements.
Such key features as the auto discovery of the hosts and an import/export tools are now available.
The telnet plugin was improved and the mail plugin was updated.

The Ortro Team is proud to announce the new stable version of Ortro that comes up with bugfixes and more improvements.

Ortro is an open source framework for enterprise scheduling and monitoring.

The workflow feature was improved, now you can easily assemble jobs to perform workflows.
Browsing and/or deleting uploaded files using a file manager.
Sharing of identities across systems is indipendent by modification of identity properties.
The capability to kill jobs and workflows was added.
Open Flash Chart library is used to create charts.
A preview of the notification details may be displayed in a tooltip in the notification view section.
A lot of code cleaning was made, the HTML code is valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and the PHP code is now compliant with the Pear Coding Standards.

Ortro is an open source framework for enterprise scheduling and monitoring.
The second release candidate has just been released.
This new version comes up with bugfixes and improvements.
The File manager was added, the Jabber plugin now supports SSL and the TestGen4Web plugin now is able to report the navigation time test too.
A lot of code cleaning was made, the HTML code is valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and the PHP code is now compliant with the Pear Coding Standards. The FCKeditor was updated.

The Windows command execution plugin that allows you to execute command on a remote Windows machine using winexe and the Solaris metadevice check plugin were added. Some bugs for the GUI such as the error when try to add user in a group without select a group and the possibility to guest users to see admin actions were fixed. The upgrade script was improved and the popups in the job section now will be appear only after a certain delay. Fixed typo in translation for core and plugins.... read more

Ortro 1.1.5 Released
Ortro is meant to be an easy and centralized way for job scheduling and application monitoring.

The support for i18n was added, english and italian languages are now availables.
More plugins such as Solaris zfs check, Oracle session and tablespace check and Check Uri were added; the mail, custom_query, ping and www plugins were updated.
There are bugfixes and impovements for the GUI such as the "add" button in toolbar.

Ortro is meant to be an easy and centralized way for job scheduling and application monitoring.

Graphs/plots/charts based on (numerical) data can be now created.
XML-RPC services such as the capability to execute a job using an xml-rpc request were added.
The filter criteria is now manteined during the session.

This is a minor release.
The escaping mode for sqlite was fixed. A bug in the plugin configuration was fixed.
The menu toolbar scrolling feature in the view section was added. The tooltip messages are now escaped correctly. FCKEditor was updated to version 3.4.1.

This is a major release.
New features as the installation and the plugins installer wizard were added. The identity management was implemented. Sqlite is now fully supported as db backend. MDB2 schema is used for db creation. The webtest plugins using Selenium RC and Slimdog were added. The configuration sections for LDAP,plugins and notifications settings were added. A bug in the mail configuration environment section was fixed.
New features, such as the ability to create manual jobs and the ability to disable/select the refresh page time in the jobs view, were added.

Ortro is meant to be an easy way to make scheduling and application monitoring.

In this release a configuration environment section was added along with an archive and retention mode for job results. Multiple selection is allowed for copy, delete, lock, and unlock on jobs and notifications. The PEAR libraries were updated. The id_job is now shown in the log. Scripts were added for upgrading the system from 0.9.2 to 1.0.0. Author and plugin info was added along with a createFile function. Catching of the msg_exec on error was corrected. The timestamp is now shown in notification messages. IE compatibility was fixed in the GUI and a tooltip was included for descriptions in the job view. Please see CHANGELOG for details.... read more
