#61 Can requests be made invisible until approved?

I have everything installed just fine, but I have two questions.

1. Can someone sign themselves up to use the site and then be approved by an administrator? I don't see a signup option on the main page.

2. When someone schedules a certain time period and resource can that be invisible on the calendar until approved by an admin?

We want a central person to be in charge of approving requests, so she would get an email notifying her of the request and then she would login and either approve or deny it. But we don't want it showing up on the calendar until that point...

Also what file do I edit to tell the program our email server?
