Hey,
I am pretty new to this so I may ask a few dumb questions but here goes.
I am interested in building an moving video camera platform with a hanheld wireless (802.11) 4 axis control.
1. travel (say rack and pinion with rapid traverse and fine tuning)
2. spin (geared vertical axis rotation)
3. elevate (lead screw activated vertical axis un/down movement
4. attitude (tilting the camera platform)
Several other functions are remotely included on the camera (focus/autofocus, zoom, on/off, record).
I would like to find a web based solution for monitoring the camera field of view...something like a small LCD viewer.
I have a well equipped shop to build the hardware and have some design work completed.
Is this an appropriate software?
Thanks,
thebruce

State of Project?
I am reading and working toward it as I have time.
As a newbie, I have a lot to learn.
I have found a commercial software for many of the fundamental functions.
Unfortunately I cannot locate (probably because it isn't there) a complete solution.
Still quite interested.
