Initial Comment:
NORMA is open source - but that does not make a difference unless it is bound to MS Visual Studio which is not open source! Up to now there is no usable open source tool that supports ORM - for this reason ORM will still be ignored by the vast majority of developers. If your model is bound to a specific vendor, you cannot create free software by ORM modeling. ORM may be better compared to UML and ER, but the lack of tools reverses all of its advantages. For this reason a linux port of NORMA is highly needed.
