Hi All,

I'm a commercial customer of the original ORM.NET.

We've recently rebuilt one of our machines that
contained ORM.NET (v1.5/6) and it required
reactivation. This worked for a while -- but now the
original site support has been fully removed, so it
won't activate anymore.

*SO* I decided to check out the latest Sourceforge
release.

PROBLEM: When implementing the latest version, my
host (MaxASP) goes wild!

Suddenly database usage rockets up from a typical 1%
to an average of 50%!!

I quickly reverted to the old release (thankfully I
saved the old DLLs) -- and it's immediately back down
again.

Unfortunately this means I *cannot* make any DB edits
at all to the Web application until this is addressed.

Does anyone have ANY ideas?

Did anything CRITICAL change?

Also, I'm happy to keep using 1.5/1.6 -- is there
a "secret" unlock key I can use, or a method of
activating via telephone?

Right now, I just want the old version -- but
it's "protected" by the former commercial wrapper.

Please help -- I'm willing to pay for assistance if
anyone can provide.

Many thanks,

Karl
