    Well, I managed to compile the ocilib-demo without issues but ... how does the commandline now look like properly? I can connect to the database via sqlplus but the application constantly gives me an 12154 - TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified. What does it use for connection to the database? EZconnect? TNS? How does this have to look like?

    It is documented in OCILIB documentation : entry of tnsnames.ora, ezconnect string or full connection string
