Any idea why I may get an error from the beginning on the OCI_Initialize()
call? - the error message is "Cannot create OCI environment" which
say me nothing :-)
what is curious: compiling the same code I'm able to conect to my database
from a Linux box, while the error message I have when trying to connect from
Solaris machine..
Any idea?..
Thank you for any help!

Curiously the problem was gone since the whole instant client libs were
installed on the server (before with Pro*C the only 2 of them were needed (as
well still the same 2 are needed by the new binaries))..
Well, good to know :-)
