This is because your C++ IDL backend library is in a different directory
from where ORBit expects to find it (/usr/lib/orbit-idl).
You already know the solution to this, because you've used it in the next
part of your message:

It's a bug, just like it says. It's probably fixed in 0.30.1. Try the
