Might there be interest in an RPM specfile for orbitcpp? I'm reasonably
competent--though far from expert--at making them; and I'd be happy to
provide one.

Feel free to write one; I can commit it.

I'm sure someone will use it. RPM based systems aren't exactly uncommon.

Well, I went ahead and created it for my own purposes after posting that
message. :-)

It's in the patch manager. I also submitted a patch to fix the
`distclean' target.
