Having said the above I should also mention that you might experience
problems with two coexisting versions of ORBit - unfortunately I don't 
know whether ORBit 0.5.7-3 is binary compatible with ORBit 0.5.8 so you
can replace it. Anyone else?
If not, install the newest ORBit version to a _completely_ different
path than the existing one. Include the the binary-path to your PATH-
and the library-path to your LD_LIBRARY_PATH-variable or alternatively
use the orbitcpp-configure-options --with-orbit-xxx.
