Hello Andreas, >> I'd like to announce to you the initial release of "o2cpp", >> version 0.10. o2cpp is (to become) a c++ mapping for >> orbit. I haven't yet had a chance to take a look at your binding code, but I read Phil's first-look at it. I'd be very interested in us working together to develop a good C++ binding for ORBit. I've been out of the loop for a while, having run into a memory bug on Solaris that I cannot for the life of me solve. As Phil said before, the code is currently being written such that it will work, not really beauty....being picky about aesthetics >grin<, I definitely have plans to clean up the code (or at least the dirt I contributed). At the same time, there exist some issues in the ORBit-C implementation that I've been trying to fix for the sake of the C++ wrapper. Thanks for the comments. I think we should work together and cross-pollinate ideas. I'll be taking a look at your implementation in the near future (once I get some monkeys off my back here). ron |
