[Orbit-python-list] more naivete

Call me green, but i've never done this before.  How do I make the cvs
tree look like the dist so I can run configure and make?  I ran
autogen.sh, but it leaves me with a mish mosh of files that apparently
are broken.  I'm on redhat-6.2 in case it matters.

Apply the patches and install the .m4 and .am files in python-am-changes/
in the cvs tree.  There is a README explaining how to do this.
