I got it working without having to change /etc/orbitrc. Here is what I
did:
orb=3DCORBA.ORB_init(("-ORBIIOPUSock=3D1","ORBIIOPIPv6=3D0","-ORBIIOPIPv4=
=3D1"),CORBA.OR
B_ID)
instead of:
orb=3DCORBA.ORB_init()
