I was wondering, Johan. Can we just use the glib mainloop instead of
orb.run and offer an API for orb.run() instead? Please tell me we can and
that it's easy?

Well, since we already require glib, then maybe we could wrap the minimum
amount of glib - stealing some C code from pygtk would work, perhaps?
