This is excellent news!!  I've had a few requests for this but haven't had much
time (or inclination) to try to build it on Windows.

I will integrate this change into the source tree and post a news item about
your accomplishment on the web site.  Please do let me know if you discover
the problem with Linux server <-> Windows client.
