Help! Undefined index: userTimeZoneOffset

    Hi there, please can you help?

    I installed OrangeHRM and everything is perfect, except for as a user I select Punch In and Out, I get the below error:

    Notice
    Undefined index: userTimeZoneOffset

    Technical Details
    Encountered the problem in /home/xxxx/public_html/hr/lib/controllers/TimeController.php Line 293

    System Environment
    •OrangeHRM : 2.5
    •PHP : 5.2.10
    •MySQL Client : 5.0.81
    •Memory limit : 32M
    •Maximum session lifetime : 1440

    Can anyone help please?

    Hi trinitron75,

    This was a bug and fixed in OrangeHRM under revision 4076. Below is what you have to do to fix it.

    In login.php (located at the root of OrangeHRM) at line 77, you can find following code segment,

    Code: Select all
        if (!empty($_POST)) {
           $_SESSION = $_POST;
        }

    Append the missing 'else' part to it as below and it should work.

    Code: Select all
        if (!empty($_POST)) {
           $_SESSION = $_POST;
        } else {
           $_SESSION = 0;
        }
