#14 mandatory options

No

There should be mandatory options. I have an
application with many input files (positional args) and a
single output file, given by option "-o" or "--outfile". It
would be nice, if I could mark it as mandatory and thus
have optik issue an error.

I am confident that such a feature would be widely used.

ps: the request "parse list other than sys.argv" is also
from me; sorry, i forgot to log in!

    1) "mandatory option" is an oxymoron; "optional" means "not
    required"! Please re-read
    http://www.gerg.ca/software/optik/doc/1.5/tao.html

    2) this is already dead easy to implement on your own
without help from Optik: see examples/required_1.py and
examples/required_2.py in the source distro for two ways
    to do it

If you're absolutely convinced that this must be added to
Optik, please bring it up on
optik-users@lists.sourceforge.net and be prepared to supply
a patch, complete with unit tests and documentation.
