[Opsview-users] (Service check did not exit properly)

Hi all.. Revisiting this software and just finished a new install on Debian
Etch. Can't seem to get the service checks to work, shows a critical on any
services installed, (Service check did not exit properly) 
 
Any thoughts or suggestions?

There are a few reasons why this might happen. For starters I suggest  
running several of the plugins from the command line, eg:

/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H localhost
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_tcp -H localhost -p 22

And maybe another that corresponds to service check where you're  
getting problem. Feel free to post any error messages.
