After checking Dhawal's config files, this was a known problem in the  
2.7.4 release, but we didn't fix in time for the RPM release. We've  
recreated the RPM now - it is opsview-core-2.7.4-2 and is available  
at http://downloads.opsview.org/.

You can do an rpm -F on the new file and the gen_config command  
should work.
