The default values are held within /usr/local/nagios/bin/ 
nagconfgen.pl - you probably need to look around line 1250 if you  
want to patch it yourself.

I am working on exposing this configuration (and others) in the UI  
properly, which should become available in 2.7.5 or thereabouts.
