the projectid is passed by guid reference. which is good, since you can change the name of the project.
this should also be done for projecttask.

Agree with you totally. This would be a significant change though. All the plugins and the server must be upgraded at the same time.
This was considerend again for http://www.openprojectservices.org/twiki/bin/view/Developers/EnableTaskEstimates but decided against, for version 0.3 of ops.
