The reason that I cannot open my sample file is that the call to mmap in odb_open in libdb/db_manage.c is returning MAP_FAILED. The arguments to mmap are start = 0, length = 2680, prot = 3, flags = MAP_SHARED, fd = 5, offset = 0. Any suggestions why mmap is returning MAP_FAILED? -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/No-sample-file-found-tp26144631p26223585.html Sent from the oprofile-list mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

Hi All, I am looking for “application profiling” tool in Linux(RHEL4). My Objective is find out the memory usage (including memory used by sub-process and libraries) and Input/Output access done by an application on various time stamps. E.x. - Matlab,Ansys..etc. Please let me, has Oprofile suits for this need Regards, Thamizh The INTERNET now has a personality. YOURS! See your Yahoo! Homepage. http://in.yahoo.com/ |

Maybe you can try start oprofile with timer mode in case this processor is not support well yet. -Sam On Thu, Nov 5, 2009 at 12:00 PM, Arabinda Verma <arabinda.verma@...>wrote: > Thanks Maynard for the reply. > > I have tried as you have advised. Thanks Maynard for the reply. I have tried as you have advised. It is happily taking the detault path /var/lib/oprofile. The file system is mounted through the NFS on host. Can this be an issue? -Arabinda On Tue, Nov 3, 2009 at 9:08 PM, Maynard Johnson <maynardj@...> wrote: > Arabinda Verma wrote: > >> Hello List, >> >> I am trying to run Oprofile 0.9.5 on ARMv6 based target. >> >> The CPU on target is S3C64100 a ARMv6 processor.
