I have no idea why they don't abort(). You need to find some way to find
out where this is called from.

error "attempt to create string with null pointer" and found that it is
coming from libstdc++.so.5.

Does all options working with ARM Xscale1 Oprofile?

I am working on Oprofile to support on platforms which have ARM11. But
Oprofile commands opreport is not recognizing some options. Does Xscale1
Oprofile port for ARM support all the options? If not what all options
and events it support?

MIPS linux smp oprofile

Hi,
 I need to setup oprofile-0.9.1 in timer interrupt mode with
linux-2.6.x for an SMP MIPS platform.

 I changed the default init value for timer in the source code to 1.

 I have the following output so far:

% ./opcontrol --vmlinux=3D/pathto/vmlinux.symbols
% ./opcontrol --start
using oprofile dir  /home/guest/oprofile-0.9.1

Using 2.6+ OProfile kernel interface.

How long does this typically take (I didnt change the default values
for the buffer size)?

There seems to be valid profile data being gathered:

This is not the platform I have and since I'm using timer mode, I
thought opreport should not look for unit_masks file. What else could
I be missing here?

Also, how do I build and use the tests in libop/tests ?
