kernel_support does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL in configure.in in oprofile-0.9

I want to reconfigure the oprofile-0.9,the autotools can not work well to oprofile. [qiyao@oprofile-0.9]$ aclocal /usr/share/aclocal/libgcrypt.m4:23: warning: underquoted definition of AM_PATH_LIBGCRYPT run info '(automake)Extending aclocal' or see http://sources.redhat.com/automake/automake.html#Extending-aclocal /usr/share/aclocal/ao.m4:9: warning: underquoted definition of XIPH_PATH_AO [qiyao@oprofile-0.9]$ autoconf [qiyao@oprofile-0.9]$ automake doc/Makefile.am:23: have_xsltproc does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL Makefile.am:24: kernel_support does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL Makefile.am: required file `./NEWS' not found Makefile.am: required file `./AUTHORS' not found I think AM_CONDITIONAL of kernel_support should be added into the configure.in like this AC_ARG_ENABLE(kernel_support, [ --enable-kernel-supprot enable kernel support (default is disabled)], kernel_support=$enableval, kernel_support=no) AM_CONDITIONAL(kernel_support, test "$" = yes) Then I run aclocal,autoconf,automake --add-missing, configure, ............. ............. checking for ld... ld ./configure: line 3696: AX_FIND_KERNEL: command not found ./configure: line 3709: AX_MALLOC_ATTRIBUTE: command not found ./configure: line 3710: AX_BUILTIN_EXPECT: command not found ./configure: line 3717: AX_EXTRA_DIRS: command not found checking for sched_setaffinity... yes checking for perfmonctl... no checking for poptGetContext in -lpopt... yes ./configure: line 3905: AX_BINUTILS: command not found ./configure: line 3916: AX_POPT_CONST: command not found ./configure: line 3917: AX_CHECK_SSTREAM: command not found checking whether bfd defines bool... no ./configure: line 3974: syntax error near unexpected token `size_t,' ./configure: line 3974: `AX_TYPEDEFED_NAME(size_t, "unsigned" "unsigned long", SIZE_T_TYPE)' I have to remove AX_FIND_KERNEL,AX_MALLOC_ATTRIBUTE,AX_EXTRA_DIRS,and so forth in configure mannually.
