Even if the timer mode is inaccurate, do you have any idea of why the symbols are not getting listed? I tried profiling a simple c program, all the symbols are getting listed.

Qt is huge, is there any overflow possible? If so, how to prevent overlow?

Is --buffer-size and --cpu-buffer-size has got something to do with it?
