O+ is an information exchange system.
The essense of it is exchanging arbitrary information by modifying properties of objects.
Allows to build catalog of goods and suppliers with capability to negotiate price, details, track good location, etc.
The program is a Win32 client, enabling information exchage via FTP-server

Here is a quick procedure to jump start O+
First of all, O+ is a client software designed to allow mant people to communicate.
Therefore, to use it it should be run on every computer (just like Skype or mail client)
The system needs an FTP-server for exchanging data. This server is 188.120.226.198 and it can be used as a sandbox for you to test O+.
So to fully test O+ you need two computers. You should install O+ on both.
1) Download and install o+.msi
2) Run the program, the default is start > programs > o+ > o+
3) The pogram will minimize and run in a background. You will be logged as user~16 (you can chage it later by editing o+.ini).
4) Click the icon (3 squares on orange background), select Open O+
5) In the leftmost listbox you will see a list of already registered users.
6) Double click any user, you will be prompted to add a public database of the user.
7) Now when the user updates his DB you will receive a notification (like in instant messenger)
6) Double click the user one again. You will be prompted to create a private connection. It allows to exchange private information (like ordering, negotiations, etc.)
7) All DBs can be viewed using menu item Data > Databases…
8) So now you see the essence of O+: by connecting to different databases.
If you want to login as a different user (to test connection between two computers) you need to modify o+.ini
You need to change the following fields:
user : user~16;
user server : 188.120.226.198;
user login :user16;
user password :kbzRAgKd;
the list of logins and passwords is in userlist.ini
