I think this system could help people manage their music library by giving them a customizable overlaid and embedded system of categorization which utilizes the existing meta-data framework but which also is not limited by it.     I have an idea you may be interested in which would add a lot of value to this project. What I am proposing is essentially a system to utilize and extend the existing metadata framework by using hashtags and at the same time leverage this information to allow users to instantly generate custom m3u playlists based on any combination of categories imaginable. I.e create a play list of rock songs from the 90,s that both me and my wife like and omit tracks that are really corny and/or contain swear words......
