have tried to run OPH to crack a Win Vista Admin password. The software launches fine and runs itself in automatic mode but then locks-up when sending discover for the udhcpc client. I just downloaded the program today. Any suggestions?

Did you try the other modes (text mode, low-ram mode) in the boot menu? I was not able to reproduce your problem.

Same problem as everyone above, getting a prompt with tux@slitaz ~$ I have downloaded the newest version 3.6.0 for vista/7 I am running on a 64 bit Dell inspiron laptop.

I'm having the same issue with the same ending screen as LML.

This was a Windows 7 64 bit OS. I downloaded the latest LIVE ISO onto a DVD and it booted up, but then just gave me that ending screen.

Ending Screen:

"SlitTaz Boot Time 7 s

Welcome to the Official Ophcrack Live CD running

Online: (I forget what goes here)
Run: 'ophcrack-launcher.sh dialogue'

Slitaz GNU/Linux

tux@slitaz ~$"

or something very close to that anyway.

I downloaded the newest one, and had the same problem. I also tried anotehr computer, same issue.
Any other suggestions?

HI I have just tride Ophcrack v3.4.0 (LiveCD v3.4.0) on a Windows 7 laptop for which I have forgotten the password. It loads fine and after running I get to a black screen that reads:
elcome to open sourc
Slitaz boot time: 7s

tux@slitaz~$
but it doesn't go beyond this point. what have i DONE WRONG?
