Is there a good document on how to configure the xend-config.sxp so I can connect with openxenmanager. I can connect using virt-manager but can't seem to get openxenmanager to work. Thanks Jim |

Oh ok then you are on the wrong mailing list , this is for the product openxenmanger. http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Category:XCP (and more on xen.org) is where you should be looking for documentation. http://xen.org/support/community.html here you can find mailinglists and irc channels and so on. Installed CentOS 6.2 from CentOS-6.2.-i386-LiveCD.iso , after install i just installed subversion and gtk-vnc-python. Checked out latest openxenmanager. I tested connecting to my Xenserver and that worked without problem. // Appiah |

"This solution requires pre-compiled libraries and we have no idea on where does files are today... links are broken ". The person who wrote this Running on Centos (and Debian Lenny) guide didnt document what was in those files so no one knows if gdk-pixbuf is the same as pixbuf.tar.gz and where all those files are.... I didn't like the whole download the libraries like this for a reason. Centos and Debian at the time of the writing had very old libraries. It works fine on Debian Squeeze and i bet it could work with the libraries providied in Centos 6.2 if you use that. If you are trying to get this to run a Centos as in the Xenserver itself you will have to do what the person who wrote the Centos guide did, which is .... well I dont know. /// Appiah |

Hi list and mike, I run openxenmanager as this link (http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/openxenmanager/wiki/GettingStarted#Centos) says. My pc environment is Centos 5.4. According to these steps, i can not get some packages like pixbuf.tar.gz, python.2.5.tar.gz, and centos_libs.tar.bz2. And then i find gdk-pixbuf.tar.gz and Python-2.5.tgz via Google. But i can not find centos_libs.tar.bz2 yet by Google. I am not sure if gdk-pixbuf.tar.gz is the same as pixbuf.tar.gz. Could anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks in advance. -- Thanks Harry Wei |
