#418 Custom editors for entering values to search in list
Currently the input are generated by the logic of listEditor.jsp depending on the data type.
We could use the standard editors for type included in editors.xml and also add the option of defining editors specifically for tabs or a certain tab.
In this way we could:
- Reuse the logic of the standard editor, such as not allowing to enter alphabetic characters in numeric fields.
- Use more suitable editors, for example if we have special editor for color it could be used here.
- Solve some cases that needs this flexibility, such as in this forum thread.
