#103 Adding Resources

I have downloaded the lastest and greatest version of open workbench 1.1.4.

I have been able to create a project plan(gantt chart), but I was unable to add resources either thru the resource table on the project profile or thru the resource form.

Unfortunately, this makes Open Workbench useless

I had the same problem with 1.1.6. The error message says "Invalid Pointer".

It may be related to running Open Workbench with a non-Administrator account. I installed Open Workbench with a local Administrator account but got the error when running it with a local non-Administrator account. When I ran it with the local Administrator account then I was able to add a resource.

To add resources (ppl), go to the Controlling group, Click on Unused Availability. Fill in the Res ID, Name and category for each resource.
Next, to assign them to a task, right click a task then go to Assignments. Click on the resource (person) and click assign.
