openWolf 0.9.9 released

It's been a long time, but 0.9.9 has been released. There's been a few minor updates, mainly revolving around edge-case CSS and HTML issues.
Contrary to what the change log says, the AJAX loading screen has actually been removed. It was too much work and completely unreliable, so it has been taken off.

0.9.8 released

A great many changes, mostly to the parser logic. If you've been using the CSS interface, then you really should upgrade to this, since many bugs have been fixed (see the changelog for a big list).
Also, some parts of the HTML parser have been improved, particularly in the parent elements function, where it would have trouble in some cases with badly nested block elements.

If this doesn't work for you, please let me know (geoff@accessware.co.nz). This release has been tested on 300,000+ pages, and should be ok, but I'm open to ideas.

0.9.7 released

Yes it's been a while, but this one is a goodie... the CSS parser has been improved, it turns out that border shorthand notation wasn't being expanded properly, and RGB notation was causing problems.
Also, in the NZ guidelines, users can mark rules has having been checked which is pretty cool.

Let me know if there are any problems...

0.9.6 out in the wild

0.9.6 sports a shiny new ajax interface for the NZ rules. I also had to rewrite the Snoopy class to work properly for https connections.
If you have any problems with this release please let me know.

Coming up in 0.9.7 will be a nice print stylesheet and maybe some decent IE 6 support (those png graphics look like crap).

0.9.5 now available

This contains a complete list of unit tests for the WAI priorities and the NZ guidelines, a shiny new specificity calculator for CSS rules, a nice NZ report skin, and many many fixes of various sizes.
This is a highly recommended upgrade if you're using an older version.

NZ Guidelines now available

0.9.4 now provides pretty good support for the brand new NZ Web Standards and Recommendations.
There are a complete set of test for each Standard, no recommendations have been implemented yet, but that's on the TODO list I suppose.
Next up, test pages for each WAI priority...

Important note

I have uploaded all the necessary files, but I have not yet tidied them up. Over the next few days I will be attaching the licensing information plus a half-hearted attempt at documenting the API.

You have been warned...

openWolf now available!

I've removed most of the debug data that was lying around, and it all works quite nicely.
It comes with the WAI priorities as the default report.
I've disabled the automatic closing of block elements such as <p>first<p>second, since it was causing problems, but that shouldn't be a problem for most scenarios.
