I've never really gotten it to work well enough to use, so I don't have much experience with it. My understanding is that the output is not up to the quality of TeX (but what is), so it will not look as good to us as either images or jsMath, but it has some advantages (like being able to copy and past the mathematics into things like Mathematica, and for the visually impaired, it can be read aloud by the computer (with appropriate software). That might come in handy for students with disabilities. Davide |
