Actually, the question of whether or not a professor's answers are recorded is configurable in global.conf. It is part of the permissions system. You can modify the distribution-default setting in global.conf.dist if you think the current default is confusing to people. I have had instructors run into this and be alarmed. Maybe it can say something like "No submitted answers have been logged."
