That sounds like a reasonable suggestion (though it would mean a 
difference in the instructions for dealing with CVS versus tarball).  
Since I don't put together the WW releases, I can't say how easy this 
would be to do, or whether the folks at Rochester want to do it, but it 
seems like a reasonable thing to try.
