Is the screen resolution 120 dpi at 1600 pixels or more?  At these 
resolutions, MSIE automatically scales images for you (it's so 
helpful), and I know that this screws up jsMath.  I've been trying to 
fix that, but I don't have access to a PC in that configuration, so it 
is hard to do.

I'll look into your other problems.  It has been a real pain to get 
jsMath to work with MSIE, which has an order of magnitude more (and 
more serious) bugs than any of the other nine browsers I've tested 
with.  There seems to be no end to the quirky display bugs associated 
with it.  I can't wait for IE7 and a whole NEW crop of bugs.  :-)
