The removal will be noted in the ChangeLog, as usual.

Note that "a while" means more time for the unmaintained project files
to get out-of-date. Also note that the 7.1 project files to not include
a configuration for building OpenVRML as a DLL; the 8.0 ones do. The
point being: it is not inconceivable that you'd be better off just
starting from scratch.
