thx Braden for the infos ...

Does anyone know if the compiler has to support 
Scoping rule (template instantiation) 
to compile libopenvrml ??? If not (believing SGI's website)
there are no other things currently not supported in the newest version of
SGI's MIPS C++ compiler. But before I will try to install that newest one and
try to compile libopenvrml with it, I'd just like to know if it's worth a try
...
