I'm having grief with the latest version of openvpn. I've loaded it in a server/multi-user mode using windows 2000 as the server and windows xp pr= o as the test client. I'm also using tls certificates using the batch file that was converted from easy-rsa. OK, here's the problem. I link up to the server from the client just fine, the interface comes up and the server gives my client an ip address. But when I try to ping the server's ip address or dhcp address, I get timed out. Also when looking a= t the server, again the openvpn software give a message that it is setting the ip address on the server tap interface and when I do a check to see i= f it is set with ipconfig, the interface is not set with any address. Also, I just try to ping the server with it's openvpn address and again, I get no response. So, I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Frank Thomas |
