Getting Started

Install

Install latest Java Version.

Download open-vjj
open-vjj needs no installation.

Execute

Execute downloaded File with Java
Windows: double click should work, or use right-click and execute with java
Ubuntu: right-click and execute with java

First Project

Execute Open-VJJ, the main window (open-VJJ) opens.
Click menue "Components".
Select "add Component".
Select from dropdown menue the Input-Component XuggleVideoFileInput.
Click menue "Components".
Select "show Components".
Click on the XuggleVideoFileInput Component and set it up (select a video to play).
Click menue "Components".
Select "add Component".
Select from dropdown menue the Output-Components ImageViweFrame.
A window with the previously added Input-Component XuggleVideoFileInput should open.
Select this Input-Component to add the selected Output-Component ImageViewFrame.
A window opens and plays the video.

Save and load the Project

Click menue "Project".
Click save.
Select file to save to.
Close Open-VJJ.
Open Open-VJJ.
Click menue "Project".
Click save.
Select the file the Project was saved to.
The project should be restored.

Start playing with the other Components

Add an input.
Add a Processor-Component to the input.
Add more Processor-Components behind each other.
Add an output.
Add ImageViewFrames behind the Processor-Components to check the processing progress.
Remove or Reorganize the Components to change the result.
