Hello Allan, thanks for sending the mpg file. I've managed to import it into OpenVIP without getting any errors. I think the problem is that you're using OpenVIP 1.0.1 binary version which is rather obsolete; it contains a bug causing that you can't import files with uppercase extensions (e.g. MPG). To solve the problem you should either compile the recent version of OpenVIP from CVS, or replace the extension of your files with a lowercase one (e.g. mpg). In case you're interested in OpenVIP you should subscribe to this mailing list to be informed about future releases.
