SUBDIRS = tools/omniidl include src tools tests examples

This is technically wrong, and newer versions of automake will
complain about it.

One fix would be to rearrange directories so that omniidl is its own
top-level directory.  Another possible fix would be to arrange it so
that all of "tools" can be built first.
