Right, I've finished playing around with getting the website into CVS. There is a new CVS module, openut.sourceforge.net. Any updates to this module will be checked out and copied to the website directory every 12 hours. The script used to do this is in o.s.n/scripts/cvs2http.sh. Currently it runs out of my crontab. The webalizer cron job happens at 00:05 every morning so they should NOT clash (!). I've submitted the changes I made to the original cvs->http script from the Code Snippets library back to the maintainer. In case of emergency in the next 24 hours, i.e. the website disappears and I don't immediately restore it, there's a tarball of the site in /tmp/openut-web.tar.gz as a temporary mesure - this will need untarring to /home/groups/OpenUT. I'll monitor the situation, but I doubt I'll be able to act on any disasters until after work tomorrow. The UTCP site is also subject to this control I'm afraid, as I couldn't avoid cleaning the htdocs/utcp directory without making the script much more complex :( -- Andy Piper squ...@uk...
